Global Activities. MCI and BT hereby agree that, effective as of the date of this Agreement and pending the Closing, MCI's Chairman of the Board of Directors, on behalf of the boards of directors of MCI and BT, will assume management and oversight of the integration planning of the two companies' global activities to the extent permissible under antitrust and regulatory laws.
