Common use of Goal Setting Conference Clause in Contracts

Goal Setting Conference. The classroom teacher and evaluator shall meet prior to October 31st in a goal setting conference. The purpose is to: • provide an opportunity for teacher self-assessment; • identify goal areas for the teacher’s evaluation including evidence to be gathered or considered; • identify student growth goals and measures; and • provide an opportunity for the teacher and/or evaluator to discussa preliminary rating assessment of the teacher.
