Government Mandated Program Price Adjustments Clause Samples

The Government Mandated Program Price Adjustments clause allows for contract prices to be modified in response to changes required by government programs or regulations. This typically applies when new laws, taxes, or regulatory requirements directly impact the cost of goods or services under the contract, such as the introduction of new environmental fees or healthcare mandates. Its core function is to ensure that both parties can fairly adjust pricing to reflect external government-imposed costs, thereby preventing financial hardship or disputes arising from unforeseen regulatory changes.
