Common use of Governmental Interest Clause in Contracts

Governmental Interest. Each of NantCell and Sorrento acknowledge that Sorrento has received, and expects to continue to receive, funding from the United States Government in support of Sorrento’s research activities. Each of NantCell and Sorrento acknowledge and agree that their respective rights and obligations pursuant to this Agreement shall be subject to the rights of the United States Government, existing and as amended, which may arise or result from Sorrento’s receipt of research support from the United States Government.
