GRANT EXTENSIONS Clause Samples

The "Grant Extensions" clause allows for the extension of deadlines or timeframes specified in a contract under certain conditions. Typically, this clause outlines the process by which a party may request additional time, such as submitting a written notice and providing justification for the delay, and may specify circumstances like unforeseen events or force majeure. Its core practical function is to provide flexibility in contract performance, helping parties manage unexpected delays without breaching the agreement.
GRANT EXTENSIONS. In the event a project is not completed by December 31, 2022, the GRANTEE may submit a contract amendment request, which is subject to approval by the CITY.
GRANT EXTENSIONS. After an applicant has drawn and used a grant from the Bank, he/she shall be required to provide a new up-to-date Sick Leave Bank Request Form and an up-to-date Sick Leave Bank Physician’s Statement Form. The new application must be filed within the guidelines. Applicants must submit requests for extension of Bank Leave grants five workdays before their current grant expires. Applications for extensions of grants will not be considered unless accompanied by a new up-to-date statement from the physician.
GRANT EXTENSIONS. Grant recipients may request a single performance period extension if extenuating circumstances beyond the control of the recipient (backordered equipment, supply chain disruptions, vendor errors, etc.) will prevent equipment from being delivered on or before June 30, 2023. Extensions for these purposes must be submitted to DFS by email no later than June 1, 2023. Approval of extension requests is at the sole discretion of DFS.
GRANT EXTENSIONS. All requests to extend the term of agreement must be submitted in writing to the NAE Program Specialist, with a copy to the NAS Grants Officer no less than 30 days prior to the completion of the grant. The grant cannot be extended beyond May 31, 2018.
GRANT EXTENSIONS. Applicants may submit requests for SLB grant extensions no earlier than 5 workdays before the end of the previous grant, but no later than 30 calendar days after the first date Sick Leave Bank usage extension is being requested. These applications shall be made on the approved form and shall indicate the continuity of the dates requested. Each subsequent request must be accompanied by a new signed Physician’s Statement covering that period.
