Common use of Grievance Purpose Clause in Contracts

Grievance Purpose. The primary purpose of this procedure is to secure, at the lowest level possible, an equitable solution to a grievance. The proceedings will be kept confidential by the parties, to the maximum extent allowable by law. Nothing in this procedure prevents informal consultation or adjustment of any grievance, provided the adjustment is consistent with the terms of this Agreement.
