Group II Subordinate Certificates Sample Clauses

The 'Group II Subordinate Certificates' clause defines the rights and characteristics of a specific class of securities within a securitization structure, typically those that are lower in payment priority and higher in risk compared to senior certificates. This clause outlines how these subordinate certificates receive distributions, often only after senior tranches have been paid, and may detail their exposure to losses or their role in absorbing defaults. Its core practical function is to allocate risk among investors, providing a mechanism for credit enhancement to senior tranches and clarifying the order of payments and loss absorption within the securitization.
