Growth Measures. Category A1 teachers’ (i.e., those who teach only subjects measured by value-added calculations) evaluation will be comprised of the following: the entire student academic growth factor of the evaluation shall be based on the value-added progress dimension. Category A2 teachers’ (i.e., those who teach subjects measured by value- added calculations and other subjects) evaluation will be comprised of the following: value-added progress dimension for the percentage of their student growth measure equal to their teaching assignment related to value added, and for the remaining percentage of the student growth measure, shared attribution using the district average value added data. Category B and C teachers (i.e., those instructing in areas with Ohio Department of Education approved vendor assessments with teacher-level data available or instructing in areas where no teacher-level value-added or approved vendor assessment available): the entire student academic growth measure shall be based on shared attribution using district average value added data. Core subject area teachers must register for and complete all written examinations of content knowledge selected by the Ohio Department of Education if the teacher has received an effectiveness rating of “Ineffective” on his/her annual evaluation for two (2) of the three (3) most recent school years. No teacher shall be responsible for the cost of taking an examination set forth above.
Growth Measures. The District shall ensure that the State Education Department (the “SED”) receives accurate teacher and student data, including enrollment and attendance data and any other student, teacher, school, course and teacher/student linkage data necessary to comply with the Regulations of the Board of Regents by providing such data in a format and timeline prescribed by the Commissioner. The process shall also provide an opportunity for every classroom teacher and building principal to verify the subjects and/or student rosters assigned to them prior to using student growth and/or achievement data in an APPR. Teachers acknowledge the responsibility of verifying class rosters as required. Any classroom teacher who believes that the list is incorrect and/or inconsistent with the standards established by the Commissioner’s regulations for making teacher-­‐of-­‐record determinations shall be entitled to seek review of this determination.
Growth Measures. For evaluation purposes, the scores for vendor assessments will be the minimum percentage as required by law. The remaining percentage will be shared attribution using district average value added for every teacher. Exempted from shared attribution are category A1 teachers. Category A1 teachers evaluation will be comprised of the following: 1) twenty-six percent (26%) of the student academic growth factor of the evaluation of the individual teacher shall be based on the value-added progress dimension of his/her own students;; 2) twenty-four percent (24%) shall be shared attribution of the district average value added score;; and 3) on or after July 1, 2014, the entire student academic growth factor of the evaluation shall be based on the value-added progress dimension. In the Fall of 2015, a committee will be convened to evaluate the current growth measure language and recommend any changes for the next contract.   • Safety Measures Awarded vendor shall take all reasonable precautions for the safety of employees on the worksite, and shall erect and properly maintain all necessary safeguards for protection of workers and the public. Awarded vendor shall post warning signs against all hazards created by the operation and work in progress. Proper precautions shall be taken pursuant to state law and standard practices to protect workers, general public and existing structures from injury or damage.

  • Emergency Measures Additional measures and/or other special requirements necessary during periods of critical fire-weather conditions shall be included in the fire prevention and presuppression plan.
