Guidance Counselor. See Appendix E for counselor work year and job responsibilities.

Guidance Counselor. The Jr.-Sr. High School Guidance Counselor shall receive payment for summer work, not to exceed twenty (20) days without Administrative approval. Summer work may commence after the last day teachers are required to report for the fiscal year. Guidance counselor will be paid at the rate of 1/200* of his/her contract rate for each day worked.

Guidance Counselor. 1. The basic ten-month salary of a full-time guidance counselor shall be calculated at 1.05 times his or her basic salary as a ten-month teacher. 2. For a full month of employment during the summer the counselor shall receive 10% of the salary determined in Section L-1 above. 3. Employment shall be on a twelve-month basis, i.e., total salary determined in Sections L. 1. and L. 2. above shall be paid as defined in Section J. 2. above.

Guidance Counselor. The following work schedule applies: a) The work year for all teachers as described in Section D above. b) Guidance Counselors shall be compensated pro-rata for any hours worked in excess of the teachers’ work year at the rate of 1/200th of a yearly salary.

Guidance Counselor. A guidance counselor is required to have a counseling endorsement for the grade level of the assignment. A master’s degree in guidance and counseling, or an equivalent counseling master’s degree from an accredited college or university, is preferred.

Guidance Counselor. The District agrees that the position of guidance counselor shall be made part of the bargaining unit. The guidance counselor's regular work year is September 1 through June 30. If the District so assigns, the guidance counselor shall be paid an additional 10% for 20 days of work during July and August.
