Common use of Guidance Services Clause in Contracts

Guidance Services. The guidance program is operated under the direction of one full time counselor. She confers with parents and students concerning scheduling, vocation, and educational plans, academic achievement, interprets data from tests, and assists the student with personal and individual counseling. Guidance is an essential part of the educational program that is available to students, parents, and teachers on a continuing basis. Students are encouraged to see their counselor at any time a need arises. Booneville High School collects, maintains, and disseminates student records in compliance with Mississippi Codes 37-3-49, 37-15-3, and the family educational rights and privacy act of 1974. Parents may set up an appointment with the counselor if they desire to see their son or daughter’s records. Students may enter the library with an official pass slip by a teacher. Any book checked out to a student is the responsibility of that student. The library will also be open before and after school for your for your convenience.
