Guidelines and Restrictions. PERMITTED INVESTMENTS In seeking to achieve the Performance Objective, the Subadvisor should invest primarily in equity securities of issuers domiciled in, or organized under the laws of, the countries that comprise the MSCI EMF Index, subject to the guidelines or restrictions expressed in Table 1. For the purposes of these guidelines, equity securities are defined to include common stocks, securities convertible into common stocks, preferred stocks, warrants and rights to subscribe to common stocks. The Sub-Adviser may also invest in appropriate issuers through depository receipts including American Depository Receipts and Global Depository Receipts. Securities should be readily marketable. No holding should exceed its benchmark weight + 5%. If the security is not in the benchmark then the maximum weight of that security should not exceed 5% of the portfolio.
