Common use of Handover of possession Clause in Contracts

Handover of possession. 14.2.1 Before this Licence ends, the Licensee will (if required to do so by the Council) to Council’s satisfaction: 14.2.1.1 remove and reinstate any alterations or additions made by the Licensee and remove the Licensee’s Equipment; 14.2.1.2 carry out and complete any repairs and maintenance that the Licensee is obliged to carry out under this Licence; and 14.2.1.3 terminate all Services. 14.2.2 If it is not practical for the Licensee to undertake and complete these requirements before the Licence comes to an end, then such works must be undertaken immediately after the Licence comes to any end, but in accordance with the reasonable requirements of the Council. 14.2.3 If at the time that possession of the Licensed Area is given back to the Council, the Licensee has not complied with all or any of its obligations under this clause 14.2, the Licensee shall not be relieved of its obligation to comply with these requirements, or to compensate the Council for failure to do so, by reason of the fact that the Council has accepted or taken possession of the Licensed Area.
