HARVEST UNIT BOUNDARIES. Boundaries are either marked with paint or flagged along a discernable boundary. Discernable boundary is clearly visible along a stand break or trail and identified with orange and blue flagging. Painted boundary is marked with three vertical blue paint stripes and a ▇▇▇▇ below ▇▇▇▇▇ height. One vertical stripe faces into the unit and the other stripes are perpendicular to the unit boundary.
HARVEST UNIT BOUNDARIES. The boundaries of units with leave tree designations are marked on three (3) sides of the cutting unit boundary trees with vertical stripes of ORANGE paint extending from diameter breast height (DBH) upwards approximately three (3) feet. The middle stripe of paint faces the cutting unit and the other two face on line with the cutting unit boundary. In addition, each boundary tree has a horizontal ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ painted on the downhill side of the tree at ground level. Trees used for boundary designation are not to be cut. All hardwood trees are not to be cut.
