Hazardous Materials Manager. The ECM shall designate a Hazardous Materials Manager to provide expertise in the safe handling of Hazardous Materials required to perform the Work and those that may be discovered/impacted during the Term. The Hazardous Materials Manager shall conduct appropriate activities such as the following: a) Schedule and/or conduct training for Developer's employees. b) Verify all employee certifications prior to and required for any handling of Hazardous Materials. c) Maintain records of all incidents involving Hazardous Materials and notify the ECM, TxDOT and appropriate authorities in writing of any such incidents. The Hazardous Materials Manager shall be a qualified professional with 40-hour HAZWOPER certification and at least five years of experience in similar projects in the following areas:
