Common use of Hazardous Materials Manager Clause in Contracts

Hazardous Materials Manager. 25 Developer shall designate a Hazardous Materials Manager for the Project. The Hazardous 26 Materials Manager must provide expertise in the safe handling of Hazardous Materials required 27 to perform the Work and those that may be discovered or impacted during the Term. The 28 Hazardous Materials Manager must schedule and/or conduct Hazardous Materials training for 29 Developer's employees, verify all necessary certifications prior to and required for any handling 30 of Hazardous Materials, and maintain records of all Incidents involving Hazardous Materials and 31 notify the Environmental Compliance Manager, ADOT, and appropriate Governmental Entities in 32 writing of any such Incidents. 33 The Hazardous Materials Manager must be a qualified professional with 40-hour HAZWOPER 34 certification. In addition, the Hazardous Material Manager must have at least 5 years of 35 experience in similar projects in developing remedial action plans or equivalent reports necessary 36 and acceptable to the ADOT in Hazardous Material investigation, discovery, and remediation 37 efforts of Hazardous Materials.
