Common use of Hazardous Substance Clause in Contracts

Hazardous Substance. Hazardous Substance" shall mean any chemical, substance, material, or waste, including without limitation asbestos, PCBs and formaldehyde, that is defined, classified, listed, or designated as hazardous, toxic, or radioactive, or by other similar term, by any federal, state, or local environmental statute, regulation, rule, order, or ordinance presently in effect.

Hazardous Substance. a substance that is defined under an Environmental Law as hazardous waste, Hazardous Substance" shall mean any chemical, substance, hazardous material, or waste, including without limitation asbestos, PCBs and formaldehyde, that is defined, classified, listed, or designated as hazardous, toxic, or radioactivepollutant, contaminant, petroleum, petroleum product, or by other similar term, by any federal, state, or local environmental statute, regulation, rule, order, or ordinance presently in effectoil.

Hazardous Substance. “Hazardous Substance" ” shall mean any chemicalsubstance or material defined or designated as a hazardous waste, toxic substance, materialor other pollutant or contaminant, by any environmentally related local, state or wastefederal law, regulation, ordinance or order (including without limitation asbestosany final order of any court of competent jurisdiction), PCBs and formaldehyde, that is defined, classified, listed, now or designated as hazardous, toxic, or radioactive, or by other similar term, by any federal, state, or local environmental statute, regulation, rule, order, or ordinance presently hereafter in effect.

Hazardous Substance" shall mean means any chemical, hazardous waste or hazardous substance, materialor any pollutant or contaminant or toxic substance or other chemicals or substances including, or wastewithout limitation, including without limitation asbestos, PCBs petroleum, polychlorinated biphenyls, and formaldehyde, that is defined, classified, listed, or designated as hazardous, toxic, or radioactive, or by any other similar term, substance regulated by any federal, state, or local environmental statute, regulation, rule, order, or ordinance presently in effectEnvironmental Laws.

Hourly Employees. As defined in effectSection 11.1(a).

Hazardous Substance. Hazardous Substance includes but is not restricted to petroleum and petroleum byproducts, asbestos, PCBs explosives, polychlorinated biphenyls ("PCBs") and formaldehyde, that is defined, classified, listed, or designated as hazardous, toxic, or radioactive, or by other similar term, by any federal, state, or local environmental statute, regulation, rule, order, or ordinance presently in effectinfectious waste.
