Common use of Hazardous Substance Clause in Contracts

Hazardous Substance. A hazardous substance is: a) any pollutant, contaminant or other substance declared by a governmental authority to be hazardous to health or the environment; or b) any mould, yeast, fungus or mildew including any spores or toxins created or produced by or emanating from such mould, yeast, fungus or mildew, whether or not allergenic, pathogenic or toxigenic
