Common use of Health and Safety Representative Allowance Clause in Contracts

Health and Safety Representative Allowance. A health and safety representative is entitled to a health and safety representative allowance payable in accordance with Schedule 4(5), Health and Safety Representative Allowance. Ongoing receipt of the allowance will be subject to a Health and Safety representative undertaking reasonable endeavours to fulfil their role as per University safety procedures and relevant legislation. Increases to the health and safety representative allowance will be indexed in accordance with salary increases contained in this Agreement. A Part-time Staff Member who is appointed as a health and safety representative is entitled to this allowance proportionate to hours worked.
