Common use of Higher Job Classification Clause in Contracts

Higher Job Classification. When an employee is asked to perform in another person's position in a higher job classification, the employee shall be paid in accordance with the salary schedule for the higher classification if required to work in that position for at least one (1) hour with supervisor approval. The increased pay rate shall commence on the first workday and shall continue until the employee is returned to their classification.
