Holiday Falls on Regularly Scheduled Day Off of Part Time Employee Sample Clauses

This clause defines how holidays are handled when they coincide with a part-time employee's regularly scheduled day off. Typically, if a recognized holiday falls on a day when the part-time employee is not scheduled to work, the employee may not receive holiday pay or an alternative day off, unless otherwise specified by company policy or a collective agreement. The clause clarifies entitlements and prevents misunderstandings regarding compensation or time off in such situations, ensuring both employer and employee have clear expectations about holiday benefits for part-time staff.
