Common use of Host Security Clause in Contracts

Host Security. Provider will have three security components in place for Internet facing servers: (i) “hardened” operating system (OS) builds; (ii) on-host security monitors (utilizing Tripwire, RealSecure, or another proven provider); and (iii) a secure audit log repository. Provider’s data center will comply with the requirements for SSAE 18 and SOC 2 Type II as set forth in Section 6 (Reporting Requirements) of the Agreement.
