HSSE. (a) Within thirty (30) days following the Closing Date, the Development Parties shall use good faith efforts to develop HSSE principles to be observed in the conduct of Development Operations (the “HSSE Principles”) which at a minimum include: (i) the goals of preventing injuries and providing a healthy, safe and secure working environment; (ii) protection of the environment; (iii) the responsibility to seek continuous improvement in HSSE performance; and (iv) the principle that level of risk is the primary criterion for facilities design. (b) Within one hundred twenty (120) days following the Closing Date, the Development Parties shall use good faith efforts to develop an HSSE plan to be observed in the conduct of Development Operations (the “HSSE Plan”) relating to the conduct of activities under this Agreement which is consistent with the HSSE Principles and the relevant technical standards and codes of practice issued by American professional bodies, including the American Petroleum Institute, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the American National Standards Institute, and all applicable Laws. (c) Within two (2) years following the Closing Date, Joint Development Operator and each Party Operator shall have used good faith efforts to develop and implement an HSSE management system to be observed in the conduct of Development Operations (an “HSSE Management System”) which addresses the HSSE risks specific to its duties under this Agreement, and any Applicable Operating Agreement, and the management of controls to eliminate, reduce or mitigate HSSE risks. (d) From time to time, the Operating Committee may amend the HSSE Principles, HSSE Plan, and the HSSE Management System, as the case may be, subject to the voting thresholds and procedures set forth herein.
HSSE. The Company hereby adopts a Health, Safety and Environment (“HSSE”) Policy, a Business Principles Policy, the Statement of Risk Management, a Treasury policy, principles prohibiting bribery or corruption and a Social Performance Policy (collectively “Policies”), which Policies shall reflect the Company’s policies on environmental performance, standards for business probity and ethics, prohibiting bribery or corruption, and a commitment to local benefit in contracting and procurement as set forth in Schedules 4.1 – 4.7 attached hereto. Upon approval by the Board, the Policies may be amended, superseded or replaced and new Policies to be incorporated herein may be adopted by the Board from time to time.
HSSE. In carrying out its obligations under this Agreement, each Party shall: (a) have an HSSE management program with a systematic approach for HSSE management designed to assure compliance with Applicable Law with goals for continuous improvement and a process for management of change; (b) have an HSSE policy, handbooks and similar materials reasonably assured to be understood by all personnel engaged in the provision of the services under this Agreement and ensure such personnel comply with such materials; (c) have appropriate processes and controls in place to protect the environment, including identification and documentation of environmental impacts of activities with a goal of preventing pollution of land, water and air; (d) maintain, repair, renew and operate the Airport and carry out its obligations under this Agreement as required by Applicable Law and by Industry Practices; (e) ensure its personnel are competent, appropriately trained and experienced in their field of activity and fit to work; (f) maintain documented emergency plans covering response strategies for handling emergencies; and (g) maintain sufficient pollution control equipment at, or immediately in proximity to the Airport, appropriate to the products handled, and ensure that operators are aware of chemical hazards and are trained in response procedure.

  • Quality Management System Supplier hereby undertakes, warrants and confirms, and will ensue same for its subcontractors, to remain certified in accordance with ISO 9001 standard or equivalent. At any time during the term of this Agreement, the Supplier shall, if so instructed by ISR, provide evidence of such certifications. In any event, Supplier must notify ISR, in writing, in the event said certification is suspended and/or canceled and/or not continued.

  • STUDENT SAFETY The Parties agree that when a Student attending a College facility expresses to any College employee a suicidal intention or a threat of physical harm to others, a protocol to be agreed prior to the effective date of this MOU will be executed. The protocol will prioritize ensuring that the Student does not pose a threat to self or others. The College will prioritize transitioning management of the issue to School District, the parent / guardian of the student or the most appropriate authority or entity to address the crisis at hand. Often the College Police Department will assess the situation and coordinate that transition with its School District counterpart. School District designates College as its agent under any applicable statutory authority or parent / guardian consent to treatment for the limited purpose of this crisis-response intervention. When on the College campus, Students will follow the policies and procedures of the College to ensure the safety and well-being of the fellow classmates, faculty, staff and visitors. The Colleges will develop standard protocols for various emergency situations. To ensure safety precautions, the College enrolls all students, faculty and staff, including Students in Dual Credit programs, into emergency alert messages. These messages are sent to all groups mentioned via the College email, robocalls and text messages to the telephones listed in the system of record. Alamo Colleges District is subject to legislation requiring it to allow licensees to carry concealed handguns on its campuses effective August 1, 2017, and Students will potentially encounter license holders availing themselves of this privilege. Any notice of these facts to parents of Students will be the responsibility of the School District. Students traveling for College events will be required to sign an Alamo Colleges District General Participation Release as a condition of participation as is required of all students from each of the Colleges of the Alamo Colleges District.

  • Training and Orientation (a) No employee shall be required to work on any job or operate any piece of equipment until they have received proper training and instruction. (b) The Employer shall provide sufficient and adequate training and/or orientation to any employee working in a new or unfamiliar work area or position.

  • Quality Assurance Program An employee shall be entitled to leave of absence without loss of earnings from her or his regularly scheduled working hours for the purpose of writing examinations required by the College of Nurses of Ontario arising out of the Quality Assurance Program.

  • Prescription Safety Glasses Prescription safety glasses will be furnished by the employer. The employer retains the authority to establish reasonable rules and procedures regarding frequency of issue, replacement of damaged glasses, limits on reimbursement costs and coordination with the employer's vision plan.
