HUB Certificate Clause Samples

A HUB Certificate clause requires a party to provide documentation verifying compliance with Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) participation requirements. In practice, this means the party must submit a certificate or proof that they have engaged or contracted with businesses classified as HUBs, often as a condition for contract approval or payment. The core function of this clause is to ensure that the contracting process supports diversity and inclusion goals by verifying that underrepresented businesses are given fair opportunities in procurement.
