IBM Responsibilities. Starting on the Effective Date, IBM will provide the following Services within the United Kingdom during the selected Service Periods; 1. The provision of on-site and remote diagnostic and remedial maintenance service to keep the Machines in, or restore the Machines to, conformance with the manufacturer's published specifications. 2. The performance of preventive maintenance service according to the manufacturer's standards for each Machine, consisting of specific tests, adjustments and replacement of Parts as appropriate.
