Common use of Illegality or Unenforceability Clause in Contracts

Illegality or Unenforceability. If any one or more of the provisions contained in this Agreement shall for any reasons be held invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason, such invalidity, illegality or unenforceability shall not affect any other provisions of this Agreement, which shall be construed as if such invalidity, illegality or unenforceable provisions had never been contained herein. It is the intention of the parties that if any provision of this Agreement is capable of two constructions, one of which would render the provision void and the other of which would render the provision valid, then the provision shall have the meaning which renders it valid.
