ILLNESS ALLOWANCE. 13.01 Illness allowance is payable when a full-time employee is absent from work due to illness or injury which is not compensatory under the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act. 13.02 Full-time employees shall be awarded ten (10) sick leave days on January 1st of each year. The sick leave days shall be non-cumulative. No pay out will be made for any unused sick leave days. 13.03 The Short Term Disability Plan in place at Lanark Lodge for full-time members will include a five (5) day waiting period. An employee on sick leave in excess of five days shall be entitled to receive 75% of wages at his/her normal rate of pay immediately prior to sick leave up to and including the 85th sick leave day.
