Common use of Imbalance Clause in Contracts

Imbalance. ‌ 8.1 Calculation of Imbalance under a Service‌‌ (a) An Imbalance is calculated as follows: = ARQ − (ADQ + SUG ) where: ARQ is the aggregate of the Actual Received Quantity for a Service; ADQ is the aggregate of the Actual Delivered Quantity for that Service; and SUG is the Shipper's System Use Gas allocation (as calculated under clause 17.3) for quantities of Gas transported on the Shipper's account under this document for Firm Forward Haulage and As-Available Forward Haulage Service, and an Imbalance may be a positive or a negative amount. (b) The Service Provider will calculate Imbalances daily for each Service.
