Common use of Implementation period of the Action Clause in Contracts

Implementation period of the Action. 2.1 This contract shall enter into force on the date when the last of the two Parties signs. 2.2 Implementation of the Action shall begin on: ▪ [the first day following the date when the last of the two Parties signs] ▪ [the first day of the month following the date of the first pre-financing instalment by the Contracting Authority] ▪ [a subsequent date] ▪ [exceptionally and subject to the conditions for the eligibility of retroactivity set out in the Practical Guide, a date prior to signature of the Contract but not earlier than the Beneficiary’s submission of the application for a grant]. 2.3 The Action's implementation period, as laid down in Annex I, is <number of months>. 2.4 The implementation period of this Contract ends with the Contracting Authority’s payment of the balance and in no case later than eighteen months after the end of the Action’s implementation period mentioned in article 2.3 above.
