The Insurer's liability is limited to cancellation costs incurred during the 48 hours following occurrence of the event justifying the trip cancellation, or the next business day if this period coincides with a statutory holiday. A pre-existing health condition may affect the insured's eligibility for travel insurance. An insured having such a condition must ensure before incurring any travel expenses that this pre-existing health condition does not affect eligibility. Trip cancellation insurance eligibility conditions are set out in this section. If in doubt, the insured must contact the Assistor, who can provide information on the insured’s eligibility.

These files will be maintained on the site of the designated employer.
