In-service Attendance Clause Samples

The In-service Attendance clause establishes the requirement for individuals, such as employees or contractors, to be present and participate during designated in-service training sessions or work periods. Typically, this clause outlines expectations for attendance, procedures for reporting absences, and any consequences for failing to attend required sessions. Its core practical function is to ensure that all relevant personnel receive necessary training or information updates, thereby maintaining compliance, safety, or operational standards within the organization.
In-service Attendance. Employees must be in attendance at the first general meeting of the school year and all workshops and meetings sponsored by the district during regular school hours. Failure to attend these meetings will result in docking the employee’s sick bank for the period of time involved.
In-service Attendance. A regular MOC member who works less than twelve months may not be scheduled to work on an In- Service Day. Therefore, on a case-by-case, as-needed basis, the employee's Administrator/ Supervisor personnel may authorize said employee(s) to attend all or part of an In-Service Day when the topics to be covered are considered important to the employee's ability to perform his/her job in an acceptable and safe manner. The employee(s) will be paid at his/her regular hourly rate for attendance at an In-Service Day.

  • IN-SERVICE When a nurse attends any in-service programme during her/his regularly scheduled working hours, she/he shall suffer no loss of pay. When a nurse is unable to do so, and attends the in-service programme outside her/his regularly scheduled hours, she/he shall be paid for all time attendance at her/his straight time rate of pay. If attendance is mandatory all applicable premiums will apply.

  • In-Service Education The parties recognize the value of in-service both to the employee and the Employer and shall encourage employees to participate in in-service. All employees scheduled by the Employer to attend in-service seminars shall receive regular wages.

  • Court Attendance Any employee covered by this Agreement who may be required to attend any commission, court or hearing, to give evidence in any case, civil or criminal respecting the hotel in which they are employed, shall be compensated at the same hourly rate as called for in this Agreement, with a minimum of four (4) hours pay.

  • Conference Attendance The Federation will be entitled to five (5) person days per year release time for designated Federation representatives to attend conferences. All conference expenses will be the responsibility of the Federation, unless funding is requested and approved through regular District processes for conference attendance.

  • Attendance Use best efforts to attend scheduled meetings of Company’s Board of Directors;
