In the Event of a. Tie Any Employees who have equal aggregate scores shall be so notified when they pick up their oral/interview exam records. Where two (2) or more candidates are tied and have the same seniority a draw will be conducted in the presence of the affected candidates no later than the third week of March to determine the order of promotion, with his/her seniority back-dated to the date of the previous Employee’s promotion. For these purposes where two or more candidates on the list are tied and the candidate winning the draw is promoted from that list but the other candidate(s) is not promoted when the list expires, he/she will be grandfathered to the top of the next Promotion and Acting Lists.
