Incentive Award Program. All employees shall be eligible for an incentive award when all of the following conditions are met: a. The employee's salary has been at the top of the salary range for a minimum of three (3) full years. b. The employee receives a better than average performance evaluation. c. The employee has completed eight (8) years of service with the Agency. In the first year of eligibility for this award, the employee shall receive a salary increase of two percent (2%) of the top of the applicable salary range. When the employee begins his/her fourth (4th) year of incentive eligibility an additional three percent (3%) shall be added to his/her salary to make a maximum of five percent (5%). An employee reclassified into a different classification at a pay rate below the top of the new salary range will be eligible for incentive pay according to a., b., and c. above. An employee reclassified with a new salary at or above the top pay step will carry over all time accrued toward incentive pay. An employee reclassified above the top pay step and already receiving incentive pay will continue to receive incentive pay, without interruption, based on the original incentive date. The maximum increase under this program shall be five percent (5%). Each increase under this program shall require a better than average performance evaluation.
