Incentive for Attendance. Teachers are encouraged to be present for the instructional program whenever possible. Therefore, teachers will be paid for exemplary attendance annually as follows: Perfect Attendance $300 (per semester) One Day Absent $200 (per semester) Two Days Absent $150 (per semester) Any days missed due to authorized school activities, as well as military leave, subpoenaed jury leave, bereavement leave, Association and other subpoenaed legal leaves, shall not be charged against the requirements of the Incentive for Attendance. Except as stated above, any use of personal business leave, sick leave, or emergency leave shall count against the requirements of the Incentive for Attendance. Payment for the Incentive for Attendance for each semester will be remitted with the January and June payrolls. 2006-07 2011-12 2012-13 2013-14 2014-15 2015-16 The Teacher-of-the-Year at each school site will receive a one-time stipend of $500, less lawful withholdings, paid at the Board of Education meeting following the selection process. The District-wide Teacher-of-the-Year will receive a one-time stipend of $1,000, less lawful withholdings, paid at the Board of Education meeting following the selection process. 2003-04 2020-21 At any time during the school year, teachers may submit supply and equipment requests through the appropriate administrative channels. Such requests will be considered as the district’s budget permits. Supply and equipment requisitions will be made through central purchasing to insure the best possible cost of the needed supplies. All full-time, certified classroom teachers will receive a budget of up to $100 (including shipping) to purchase classroom needs utilizing District purchasing procedures. Orders for supplies must be submitted by November 1st of the school year. Teachers may submit requisitions for multiple vendors; however, the entire amount (up to $100) must be requisitioned at the same time.
