Incidental and Peripheral Tasks. 3.2.1 The employer may direct an employee to carry out any duties which are within the limits of the employee's skill, competence and training consistent with the Skill Levels contained in this Agreement, provided that such duties are not designed to promote deskilling. 3.2.2 The employer may direct an employee to carry out any duties and use whatever tools and equipment are necessary, provided the employee has been trained in the use of the relevant tools and equipment. 3.2.3 Any directions issued by the employer pursuant to subclauses 3.2.1 and 3.2.2 must be consistent with the employer's responsibility to provide a safe and healthy working environment.
