Incremental Submittals Clause Samples

The Incremental Submittals clause establishes that required documents, plans, or materials must be submitted in stages rather than all at once. In practice, this means that a contractor or supplier provides portions of the total submittal package as each part becomes ready, such as submitting shop drawings for one phase of work while other phases are still being prepared. This approach facilitates ongoing review and approval, helping to keep the project moving forward and reducing delays that might occur if all submittals were held until completion.
