Common use of Independent Subrecipient Clause in Contracts

Independent Subrecipient. Nothing contained in this Agreement shall constitute or be construed to create a partnership, joint venture or employee-employer relationship between Children’s or its successors or assigns, the DHS and Subrecipient or its successors or assigns. In entering into this Agreement and in acting in compliance herewith, Subrecipient is at all times acting and performing as an independent contractor.
