INDEPENDENT TESTING LABORATORY. The District will select and pay an independent testing laboratory to conduct all tests and inspections. Selection of the materials required to be tested shall be made by the laboratory or the District’s representative and not by the Contractor. Any costs or expenses of inspection or testing incurred outside of a fifty (50) mile radius from the Project Site or not located in a contiguous county to the Site, whichever distance is greater, shall be paid for by the District, invoiced by the District to the Contractor, and deducted from the next Progress Payment.
