Common use of Individual Requests Clause in Contracts

Individual Requests. The Contractor shall acknowledge any request or instruction from the County regarding the exercise of any individual’s privacy rights provided under applicable federal or State laws. The Contractor shall have in place appropriate policies and procedures to promptly respond to such requests and comply with any request or instructions from the County within seven calendar days. If an individual makes a request directly to the Contractor involving County Information, the Contractor shall notify the County within five calendar days and the County will coordinate an appropriate response, which may include instructing the Contractor to assist in fulfilling the request. Similarly, if the Contractor receives a privacy or security complaint from an individual regarding County Information, the Contractor shall notify the County as described in Section 14 below, SECURITY AND PRIVACY INCIDENTS, and the County will coordinate an appropriate response.
