Informal. An employee claiming a violation concerning the interpretation or application of the express provisions of this AGREEMENT shall: A. Within twenty-one (21) calendar days after the first occurrence of the event giving rise to the grievance, present such grievance, with or without the union representative, to their supervisor who is designated as appropriate for this purpose by the EMPLOYER.
