Information Regarding Foreign Subcustodians. Upon request of a Fund, the Custodian shall deliver, or cause any Approved Foreign Custody Manager to deliver, to the Fund a letter or list stating: (i) the identity of each Foreign Subcustodian then acting on behalf of the Custodian; (ii) the Eligible Securities Depositories (as defined in Section 5(f)) in each foreign market through which each Foreign Subcustodian is then holding cash, securities and other Assets of the Fund; and (iii) such other information as may be requested by the Fund to ensure compliance with rules and regulations under the 1940 Act. At the end of each calendar quarter, the Custodian shall provide written reports notifying the Board of Trustees of the placement of the Assets of a Fund with a Foreign Subcustodian and of any material changes in the Fund’s foreign custody arrangements. The Custodian shall as soon as reasonably practicable take such steps as may be required to cause the withdrawal of Assets of the Fund in connection with any arrangement with any Foreign Subcustodian that has ceased to meet the requirements of Rule 17f-5 under the 1940 Act.
