Common use of Initial Compensation Clause in Contracts

Initial Compensation. The initial placement of a teacher on the salary schedule, who was not a member of the bargaining unit during the prior work year, shall be determined by the Board in its discretion on the basis of such teacher's education and prior teaching experience.
