Common use of Initial Effort Clause in Contracts

Initial Effort. The Parties agree that the DIR Managed Applications Services Manager and the Service Provider Account Manager shall attempt in good faith to resolve all disputes (other than those described in S ection 19.1(e) or 2 0.8). In the event the DIR Managed Applications Services Manager and the Service Provider Account Manager are unable to resolve a dispute in an amount of time that either Party deems reasonable under the circumstances, such Party may refer the dispute for resolution to the senior executives specified in S ection 19.1(b) below upon notice to the other Party.
