Initial Response. The Protecting Agencies will initiate a response based on the management option designation and notify the appropriate Jurisdictional Agency(ies) Agency of any fire threatening detected on that agency’s lands in accordance with the AIWFMP and Clause 28 27 of this AOP. Response A non-standard response should be a collaborative decision, but may be used at the discretion of either the Jurisdictional Agency or the Protecting Agency to mitigate risk, accommodate safety concerns, higher management priorities, and/or resource availability. Non-standard responses will be based on strategic direction provided by Jurisdictional Agency(ies) at the time of the incident or the management option designationdocumented in a Decision Document.
