Initial Sales. For Sales which are confirmed by CMS to be payable as an Initial Sale, Aetna will, if permitted by Applicable Law, advance the full “Initial Rate” set forth in Schedule 1 hereto, in one or more payments, during the calendar year in which the effective date of the policy occurs. The full amount of the “Initial Rate” will be paid for Initial Sales regardless of the month in which the effective date falls (i.e., same amount will be paid if the effective date is January 1st or December 1st).
