Common use of Input from Members Outside the Candidate’s Home Department Clause in Contracts

Input from Members Outside the Candidate’s Home Department. With the candidate’s permission, the Chair of the Committee may contact members of the University outside the candidate’s home department to comment on the candidate’s suitability for reappointment, tenure/permanency, or promotion. Colleagues shall be given at least ten (10) working days to submit their comments. Such written views from colleagues will be added to the candidate’s promotion file.
