Common use of Inspection and Testing of Goods Clause in Contracts

Inspection and Testing of Goods. (a) If the Supplier is supplying Goods, the Contractor may inspect and/or test the Goods prior to and/or after they have been supplied by the Supplier.‌ (b) The Supplier must provide the Contractor with access to the premises of the Supplier in order to enable the Contractor to inspect and/or test the Goods in accordance with clause 21.3(a) above. (c) The Contractor's inspection, testing or acceptance of or payment for some or all of the Goods does not in any way: (i) change or affect the Supplier's obligations under this agreement; or (ii) affect the Contractor's rights to: (A) make a claim for any Loss it may suffer because of the Supplier's breach of any warranty or failure to fulfil any of its other obligations under this agreement; and/or (B) reject any Defective Deliverables.
