Installation and Commissioning of DI pipes Installation a. Supplying, laying, jointing, testing and commissioning of pipes used for Water Supply shall conform to relevant IS codes, as applicable. Any additions and/or modifications specified in this Section shall also be followed. b. The alignment of water pipelines shall be prepared by the Concessionaire and the respective drawings shall be furnished to Independent Engineer / PMC as and when sought for and any changes proposed by the Independent Engineer / PMC shall be incorporated and the final drawings released for construction. c. The water supply pipelines shall be of MS, DI, GI, HDPE and MDPE as specified elsewhere. Pipes shall be laid underground with a minimum earth cover of 1m above the crown of the pipe, unless otherwise specified. All pipes, fittings and material shall be inspected and approved by the Independent Engineer / PMC before being laid. Any pipes, fittings or material placed before they are inspected and approved shall be removed and replaced with approved material. Before laying the pipe, necessary bedding shall be provided to the pipes, wherever specified. d. Wherever Jointing Material like Bolts and Nuts are required for fixing valves or any other appurtenances, stainless steel/carbon steel Bolts and Nuts shall be used. e. The DI Pipes shall be laid in accordance with IS 12288 (1987).

  • Installation When installation is required, the Contractor shall be responsible for placing and installing the Commodities or parts in the required locations at no additional charge. All materials used in the installation shall be of good quality and shall be free of defects that would diminish the appearance of the Commodity or render it structurally or operationally unsound. Installation includes the furnishing of any equipment, tools, rigging, labor, and materials required to install or replace the Commodities or parts in the proper location. Contractor shall protect the site from damage and shall repair damages or injury caused during installation by Contractor or its employees or agents. If any alteration, dismantling, excavation, etc., is required to achieve installation, the Contractor shall promptly restore the structure or site to its original condition. Contractor shall perform installation work so as to cause the least inconvenience and interference with Customers and with proper consideration of others on site. Upon completion of the installation, the location and surrounding area of work shall be left clean and in a neat and unobstructed condition, with everything in satisfactory repair and order.

  • Installation, Maintenance, Testing and Repair Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Parties, to the extent required by Applicable Law, Interconnection provided by a Party shall be equal in quality to that provided by such Party to itself, any subsidiary, affiliates or third party. If either Party is unable to fulfill its obligations under this Section 14.2, it shall notify the other Party of its inability to do so and will negotiate alternative intervals in good faith. The Parties agree that to the extent required by Applicable Law, the standards to be used by a Party for isolating and clearing any disconnections and/or other outages or troubles shall be at parity with standards used by such Party with respect to itself, any subsidiary, affiliate or third party.

  • Installation and Use You may install and use the Software only for the number of licenses acquired by you. In order to exercise your rights to the Software under this Agreement, you must activate your copy of the Software in the manner described during the launch sequence.

  • Equipment Installation In order to meet its obligations under this Agreement, a Party that owns, rents, or leases equipment (the equipment owner) may require installation of such equipment on property owned by another Party (the property owner), provided that the property is being used for an electric utility purpose and that the property owner shall not be required to do so if it would thereby be prevented from performing its own obligations or exercising its rights under this Agreement.

  • Provisioning Line Splitting and Splitter Space 3.8.1 The Data LEC, Voice CLEC or BellSouth may provide the splitter. When EZ Phone or its authorized agent owns the splitter, Line Splitting requires the following: a non-designed analog Loop from the serving wire center to the NID at the End User’s location; a collocation cross connection connecting the Loop to the collocation space; a second collocation cross connection from the collocation space connected to a voice port; the high frequency spectrum line activation, and a splitter. The Loop and port cannot be a Loop and port combination (i.e. UNE-P), but must be individual stand-alone Network Elements. When BellSouth owns the splitter, Line Splitting requires the following: a non designed analog Loop from the serving wire center to the NID at the End User’s location with CFA and splitter port assignments, and a collocation cross connection from the collocation space connected to a voice port. 3.8.2 An unloaded 2-wire copper Loop must serve the End User. The meet point for the Voice CLEC and the Data LEC is the point of termination on the MDF for the Data LEC's cable and pairs. 3.8.3 The foregoing procedures are applicable to migration to Line Splitting Service from a UNE-P arrangement, BellSouth Retail Voice Service, BellSouth High Frequency Spectrum (CO Based) Line Sharing. 3.8.4 For other migration scenarios to line splitting, BellSouth will work cooperatively with CLECs to develop methods and procedures to develop a process whereby a Voice CLEC and a Data LEC may provide services over the same Loop.
