Instructions and Guidelines for Use. This Speaker/Participation Agreement (“Agreement”) is appropriate for use when the University has invited a party to participate in a particular engagement, project or activity and the University desires to capture that party’s participation in audio, video or other media format. Examples of when to use this Agreement include when the party is participating as a: Speaker Lecturer Presenter Debate participant Panel participant Contest judge Coursera participant Online course participant iTunes University speaker This Agreement can be issued to the individual speaker/participant or to an agent or agency representing the speaker/participant. This Speaker/Participation Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into by and between the University of Pittsburgh - Of the Commonwealth System of Higher Education ("University") and ________________________________ (“Speaker/Participant”). Limited Rights: Speaker/Participant permits the University to record the Engagement in audio, video or other media format. Speaker/Participant warrants that it is the sole owner of (or has the rights to use) the content and materials presented and grants the University a limited, free, perpetual, non-exclusive, irrevocable license to use the text and recordings of the content and materials only for internal University use and replay in any medium as the University desires.
