Common use of Instructions and Logs Clause in Contracts

Instructions and Logs. Charterers shall from time to time give the master all requisite instructions and sailing directions, and the master shall keep a full and correct log of the voyage or voyages, which Charterers or their agents may inspect as required. The master shall when required furnish Charterers or their agents with a true copy of such log and with properly completed loading and discharging port sheets and voyage reports for each voyage and other returns as Charterers may require. Charterers shall be entitled to take copies at Owners’ expense of any such documents which are not provided by the master. Owner’s crew to be trained to operate and to utilize Charter Operations System (CHOPS) as directed by Charterer.
