Instrument in Writing Clause Samples
The 'Instrument in Writing' clause defines that any agreement, amendment, or legal obligation must be documented in a written form to be valid and enforceable. In practice, this means that verbal agreements or informal understandings are not recognized unless they are formally recorded, typically through signed documents, emails, or other written records. This clause ensures clarity and reduces disputes by requiring a tangible record of the parties' intentions and commitments.
